Blue Arrow are recruiting for experienced Head Chef to work with our client in the Worcester Area. Working in a Care Home setting, your main duties will include:
- Overseeing overall management of catering operations
- Leading a small kitchen team in delivering a timely service
- Being aware of allergen and dietary needs
- Stock ordering
- Stock takes
- Accurate recording of daily and weekly paperwork including temperature checks
- Ensuring high standards of kitchen and food hygiene are maintained at all times
Knowledge of the IDDSI framework.
Skills Required:
- Experience in care home catering
- Knife skills
- Knowledge of stock takes and ordering
- Rota management
- Working within a budget
- Management experience
Qualifications Needed:
- Food hygiene level 2 or 3
- Allergens
- Knowledge of IDDSI
- Able to pass an enhanced DBS check
- Previous experience in a management role
Salary - £31,000 per annum
