Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for a variety of School Support Staff positions to work within Primary and Secondary Schools across Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Solihull, Redditch and Worcester.
Available Roles:
Lunchtime Supervisors:
- Supervising pupils during lunch breaks both indoors and outdoors.
- Assisting pupils with any issues that arise during lunchtime.
- Reporting accidents, incidents, or concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Assisting with the organisation of playground activities where necessary.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy cafeteria/canteen.
Hours: 11.30am-1.30pm - Monday to Friday
Catering Assistant:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen.
- Assisting kitchen staff with general duties as required.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
- Serving food over the counter.
Hours: 10am-2/2.30pm
Cleaner:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas.
- Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Restocking cleaning supplies and consumables where required.
- Ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Following school health and safety guidelines.
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns. xgikmsk
Hours: 3-6.30pm
Requirements:
- Must have previous experience working in a school environment
- ENHANCED DBS DISCLOSURE - must be dated within the last 12 months or on the update service
- Safeguarding training, Food Hygiene level 2 and Benedict's Law training - this can be provided by Blue Arrow
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
- Must be able to commit to Monday to Friday
