Shifts and Pay -
The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.

Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm

Friday 8am-12pm

Β£13.03 per hour

Responsibilities -
Operate lab equipment such as density meter, spectrophotometer, ph and conductivity meters.
Prepare samples for GC and other specialist instrumentation.
Sensory Analysis - prepare samples for Sensory Panel, set up sensory software and maintain reference samples.
Collect samples from production, use LIMS to log all samples and record their results.
Apple 5S principles to the laboratory environment, ensuring good housekeeping and store all incoming samples appropriately in accordance with HMRC guidlines.
Comply with all EHS, Quality and Food Hygiene guidlines. Experience/Qualificiations -
To be considered candidates must have the following

Quality lab/Spirits industry experience (minimum 3 months).
Tertiary education in science such as HNC/HND in chemistry, bioscience or food science. xohmjla
Relevant IT systems experience e.g. Microsoft Office, LIMS, Chemstation
Good attention to detail
