Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver based in the G51 area of Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established operation collecting white goods from recycling centres across the local area. You'll be working alongside a driver's mate/second man, making this a great role for both experienced and newly qualified Class 2 drivers.
Job Details:
- Monday to Friday only
- Start time: 07:30
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:00
- Friday: 07:30 - 13:30
- £16.50 per hour
- Ongoing work with the potential for long-term opportunities
Duties Include:
- Collecting white goods from recycling centres
- Working with a driver's mate/second man
- Loading and unloading items safely
- Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork
- Providing excellent customer service when required
- Adhering to all driving and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
