This is a key role that ensures the site maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and food hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out scheduled and deep clean activities across production areas, corridors, equipment, and facilities.
- Ensure all cleaning is completed to strict food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP / BRC).
- Use industrial cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively.
- Complete cleaning records accurately and maintain compliance documentation.
- Follow all site health & safety procedures, including safe use of PPE.
- Work closely with production teams to minimise disruption and deliver safe, hygienic working conditions.
- Previous experience in a food production or industrial hygiene role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Comfortable working in chilled environments and areas with machinery.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good understanding of hygiene, safety, and basic food handling practices (training can be provided).
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual cleaning tasks.
