Shifts: Day shift either 6AM - 2PM or 8AM - 4PM
Pay Rate: £13.74 per hour.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for supervising hygiene staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring compliance with site and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the hygiene team across all cleaning activities, ensuring high standards are consistently achieved.
- Plan, monitor and record daily, weekly and deep clean schedules within production, equipment, and facility areas.
- Ensure all hygiene operations meet BRC, HACCP, and company food safety requirements.
- Train, support and develop hygiene operatives to maintain best practice.
- Conduct hygiene audits and inspections, addressing non conformance and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure safe use of chemicals, equipment, and correct PPE at all times.
- Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to minimise downtime and ensure safe operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Hygiene Supervisor or Senior Hygiene Operative in a food production or manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP and BRC.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work in chilled, fast paced environments.
- Confident using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Flexible with shift patterns (days or back shift options available).
