Blue Arrow is recruiting for a full-time permanent Logistics Manager to join a well-established food production company based in Bellshill.
Salary: £35,000 + depending on experience
Shifts: Monday - Friday 7am - 3.30pm
The Role: You'll manage the end-to-end despatch function, ensuring products are delivered on time, in full, and fully compliant with food safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the despatch team and daily operations
- Oversee order picking, loading, and transport scheduling
- Manage hauliers and customer delivery systems
- Maintain accurate stock control and traceability
- Ensure compliance with BRC, HACCP, and food safety standards
- Drive OTIF performance and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- Experience in logistics/despatch or warehouse management
- FMCG or food environment experience preferred
- Strong stock control and WMS experience
- Proven people management skills
- Good IT skills, including Excel
Desirable:
- FLT licence
- Knowledge of BRC and HACCP
