Join Blue Arch Homecare – Care Assistants (Travel Across Leicestershire)

At Blue Arch Homecare, we’re committed to helping people remain independent in their own homes. As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide person-centred support that makes a real difference — whether that’s helping with daily routines, offering companionship, or simply being a reassuring presence.

We’re looking for both male and female carers to join our trusted team, supporting people across both rural and town areas of Leicestershire. This role involves travelling between visits, so access to a car is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming).
  • Assist with meals, hydration, and safe use of medication.
  • Encourage independence and help clients achieve their daily goals.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness.
  • Carry out light domestic tasks and shopping where required.
  • Keep accurate digital care records and promptly report any concerns.
  • Safely support clients in line with moving & handling and safeguarding policies.
  • Attend induction and mandatory training.

What we’re looking for

  • A caring, reliable and compassionate nature.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential).
  • Comfortable travelling across Leicestershire between visits.
  • Previous care experience (essential).
  • Willingness to complete induction and ongoing training.
  • Confidence using smartphones/tablets for secure digital care notes.
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.
