We are looking for a dedicated and professional Bar Staff member for our Maplethorpe venue, The Tavern, to join our 2025 team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of efficiency and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

  1. Take food and drink orders from customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Serve drinks, cocktails, and beverages.
  3. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all guests & visitors.
  4. Run food orders to tables, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery.
  5. Clean and maintain tables, ensuring a tidy and inviting environment.
  6. Replenish menus and ensure they are kept up to date.
  7. Assist with stock rotation and restocking supplies as necessary.
  8. Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised bar area.
  9. Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and manage any issues professionally and efficiently.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in bar or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  4. A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service.
  5. Ability to work well as part of a team.
