Our Client, a Suffolk based Structural Steel Contractor, currently seeks an experienced Steel Erector/Supervisor for various projects in the Suffolk area. The work itself is structural metal fabrication and installation. It is essential that you hold a Blue CSCS Card, SSSTS, and are able to provide recent work references to back up a loyal background.
Duties will include:
- Appointed Team Leader for installation programmes
- Working and installing balconies, beams, columns, and structural steel
- Point of contact between site management and site labour
- Assigning labour to work areas
- Attending site meetings and progress meetings
- All other associated tasks as instructed
This is an immediate start for the right candidate and will be a temp to perm position. You will be required to work 12 weeks on the agency and then you will go direct if successful from the 13th week onward (a permanent salary of circa £50k + benefits can be offered at this point or if preferred can continue on a day rate).
