We are looking for a number of qualified social workers for both children's and adult local authority temporary and ongoing contracts across West Berkshire. There are ongoing roles available across a variety of teams, with roles from newly qualified to senior level.
For this particular role, the working pattern is hybrid (40% in office), however, you would be expected to be on a duty rota once or twice a week in the office and then community visits in between.
The Locality Team are looking for a qualified Social Worker to provide high quality and effective social work service. You will be expected to respond to people with a range of needs and disabilities, working with them and their carers and families in a timely manner and within statutory guidelines.
To undertake suitable work as required in relation to:
- Safeguarding
- Mental Capacity
- Deprivation of Liberty
- Assessment and management of risk
- CHC
All assessments and support plans will be completed in accordance with the principles of the Care Act 2024 and reflect a strengths-based approach.
Working with Blu tech, you will receive weekly pay, will accrue paid annual leave hours, be provided access to free update training where appropriate, with certificates provided, and be given a named consultant as your main point of contact.
