Our client, a Bedfordshire based Electrical Contractor, currently seeks an experienced Electrician for one of their new build housing projects in Oadby, Leicestershire. The work itself is the installation of electrics in 130 new build housing plots. It is essential that you are a fully qualified Electrician, hold a JIB or ECS card, and can provide recent references for similar work undertaken.
Duties will include:
- First Fix - Chasing & Cutting, running cables, installing black boxes, preparing consumer units, installing fire alarms and smoke detectors.
- Second Fix - Screwing and wiring switches, sockets, and fused spurs onto back boxes, connecting and mounting light fixtures (e.g., spotlights, pendants, and exterior security lights), hard-wiring fixed appliances such as ovens, extractors, and boilers, and fully populating and connecting the main fuse box (RCDs/RCBOs).
- All other associated tasks as instructed.
