Our client a Sussex based Bricklaying contractor currently seek x2 experienced Bricklayers for one of their projects in Horley, Surrey. The work itself is new build housing and apartments It is essential that you hold a minimum of a Blue CSCS card and can provide recent work references that demonstrate excellence. Duties * Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units to construct walls and other structures. * Interpret drawings to determine project specifications and requirements. * Mix mortar and other materials as needed for construction tasks. * Ensure the accuracy of measurements and alignment during the building process. * Perform repairs on existing brickwork, including repointing and replacing damaged bricks if necessary * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, including hand tools and power tools. Skills * Proficient in bricklaying techniques with a strong understanding of masonry principles. * Experience with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels. * Familiarity with power tools used in masonry work. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. This is an immediate stat for the right candidates and the project is set to run for at least 12 months.
