Blu Dog have been engaged to recruit for a growing engineering group who are seeking a proactive and experienced Procurement Manager. This is a standalone position and requires somebody who can operate strategically as well as do the ground work. This role will be a mixture of improving current process and procedure while also working to budget and reporting on KPI's in house and to group. This will involve a property portfolio, consumables, parts, tooling and general supplier contracts and terms.

As a Procurement Manager, you will:

  • Set up and log all relevant details for current and future suppliers and terms
  • Increase training at depot level to improve adherence to company policy
  • Regularly review and improve key supplier partnerships
  • Report on forecasting, budgets, key spends etc.
  • Complete negotiations on time and with beneficial terms for the business
