Package: up to £42k basic + commission (OTE 65k uncapped)

Blu Dog have been engaged to recruit for a growing materials handling business who are looking for a driven and customer-focused Area Sales Executive. If you have experience selling forklift trucks, warehouse equipment, capital equipment, or technical products, we'd love to hear from you. Candidates with strong B2B field sales experience from related sectors will also be considered.

As an Area Sales Executive, you will:

  • Develop new business across your region, promoting a full range of forklift trucks and materials handling solutions
  • Manage existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service and repeat business
  • Conduct site visits, assess customer needs, and recommend suitable equipment
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and product information
  • Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven B2B field sales experience (materials handling, forklift trucks, plant, or capital equipment ideal)
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage your own diary
  • Ability to understand technical products and match solutions to customer needs
  • Full UK driving licence
