My industry-leading client is looking for a brand-new Chief Digital Officer to join their amazing board on a contract basis. This huge eCommerce business has a solution-based product with ambitious growth plans for the year, aiming to become the international market leader.
You will play a pivotal role in increasing the effectiveness of the board and individual directors, both inside and outside the boardroom. You will ensure effective communication with the leadership team, acting as a sounding board for the CEO. You will run quarterly board meetings, ensuring each member of the leadership team is accountable.
You will support the chief executive and team, always acting impartially, and ensuring decisions are made efficiently and effectively. You will review governance in the organisation to ensure all decisions comply with legal and regulatory requirements, sitting on grievance and appeal panels when necessary.
You will be independent, reflective, and thoughtful in your approach. You will have strong principles and be comfortable disagreeing with the group, with both a challenging and supportive approach to avoid conflict, ensuring successful communication and building strong relationships with the executive team.
