Are you a digital leader who enjoys owning the full ecommerce journey and guiding a brand through growth across multiple markets? This role offers the chance to shape the online strategy of a purpose-driven retailer with a strong identity and loyal customer base.
A homeware brand is looking for a Chief Digital Officer to lead its ecommerce performance across the UK and US, with future plans to develop its online presence in Europe. This is a senior position within the leadership team, responsible for setting direction, improving online experience and managing digital teams across both regions.
You will take full ownership of the ecommerce function, covering trading, UX, technology, customer retention and digital marketing. Your work will directly influence revenue growth, site performance and customer loyalty, ensuring every digital touchpoint reflects the brand’s values and product story.
The role involves leading a growing global team, including the US digital function, and creating a joined-up strategy that works across markets while accounting for differences in buying behaviour. You will develop the digital roadmap, oversee major platform decisions and drive improvements in conversion, onsite experience, site speed and customer journey.
You’ll work closely with marketing and brand teams to deliver effective acquisition and retention activity across paid channels, email, CRM and content. Data will play an important part in how you shape product insights, trading plans and forecasting, and you’ll champion a culture of testing and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in ecommerce leadership and a track record of improving online performance in consumer retail. You should be comfortable managing teams across geographies, working with ecommerce platforms, interpreting data and delivering strong commercial results. An interest in sustainability, homeware or wellbeing would be an advantage.
