This Big 4 firm seeks candidates at the Assistant Manager level to join their Customs and Global Trade team and work with high-profile multinational clients, advising on customs compliance, trade optimisation, export controls and supply chain strategy. Responsibilities
- Advising clients on customs valuation, classification, origin, and duty reliefs.
- Advising clients on export controls and sanctions regulations.
- Supporting clients with HMRC audits, disclosures, and risk assessments.
- Assisting in the design and implementation of global trade compliance frameworks.
- Collaborating with cross‐functional teams across tax, legal, and supply chain.
- Supporting with data analytics tools and ERP upgrades.
Qualifications
- Experience in customs, international trade, or export controls (ideally within a professional services or multinational environment).
- Strong knowledge of UK and EU customs legislation and international trade agreements.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
