Newly created role in a particular part of this global business, working in their London office. The brief is to lead Indirect Tax strategy for the business and ensure compliance. You’ll also provide expert Indirect Tax support as the business grows into new territories; build a strong risk management environment and drive process improvement.
This would suit an experienced Indirect Tax professional, with well-honed collaboration and communication skills, and the ability to handle both VAT and Customs/Excise matters effectively. You’ll need the gravitas to have impact with a variety of stakeholders, but as you’ll be the sole Indirect Tax person in this part of the business, you’ll also need to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in!
This role is fully office based (or largely so) for both cultural and work content reasons. Commodities/energy sector experience is essential, as is a UK/European Indirect Tax career history – it’s a great role for a dynamic individual at the right level, keen to make their mark.
