The predicted salary is between 60000 - 80000 £ per year.
A newly created role for a proactive and knowledgeable Senior Manager to join a growing tax team with this successful property group. Reporting to the Tax lead, this role will primarily be advisory with some compliance work, and will require the individual to lead the VAT advice on a wide range of projects across the business and global offices. There will also be VAT obligations in respect of sister companies with activities in a range of sectors.
Specifically this will include:
- Leading on VAT advisory matters in the UK and overseas and liaising with external advisors where appropriate.
- Contributing to VAT-related projects and wider business initiatives across the group.
- Identifying VAT saving opportunities and process improvements across the business.
- Reviewing and ensuring timely submission of all VAT returns across Vita Group and related companies.
To apply you will need deep working knowledge of UK VAT and broader indirect tax principles, an excellent understanding of UK VAT real estate legislation will be key. You will need strong communication skills with the ability to explain VAT issues to senior stakeholders within the group and a collaborative mindset and a willingness to get involved across the business. The business operates a hybrid working policy with the expectation to be office based 4 days a week.
