We build AI agents that automate finance, procurement, logistics, sales, and more for some of the world's largest enterprises. Our solution is live in 40+ countries, used by 20,000+ daily active users, and automates 70,000+ processes every day, including for Fortune 500 companies. As one of Switzerland's fastest‑growing SaaS scaleups, our success stems from deep expertise in technology and business processes.

How We Work:

  • AI‑First & Data‑Driven: We leverage the latest tech to let our people put their brains to use where they matter most.
  • Ownership: We own our work, our wins, and our mistakes.
  • Excellence: We don't settle for "good enough." Exceptional is the bar in everything we do.
  • Transparency: Open communication, honest processes, and no surprises.
  • Candour: Bold, honest conversations that inspire new ideas and solve problems.

About The Role:

We're hiring a Strategic Solutions Engineer (Presales) to shape and win enterprise ERP automation decisions: you reframe problems, quantify the cost of inaction, and prove value through tailored workshops and demos. Partnering with an AE, you own technical leadership, value articulation, and de‑risking security/integration.

What You'll Own:

  • Insight‑led discovery & deal shaping: Challenge the customer's initial framing and introduce a sharper point of view on where value is actually trapped.
  • Solution design & technical leadership: Architect a tailored solution: scope, rollout approach, integration pattern, security posture, and success criteria.
  • Demos, workshops & executive storytelling: Deliver high‑impact demos that map to customer workflows and facilitate workshops that turn stakeholder skepticism into a tangible blueprint.
  • Value engineering: Build a credible value narrative and support champions and the AE with executive‑ready business‑case inputs.
  • Competitive positioning: Position blp against point tools and fragmented stacks with an "end‑to‑end + exceptions‑first" narrative.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must‑haves: 3–8+ years in Solutions Engineering / Presales / Solution Consulting / ERP process consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to run insight‑based discovery.
  • Comfort with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong workshop facilitation + demo craft.
  • Ability to connect technical realities to business outcomes.
  • Strong plus: SAP exposure or multi‑ERP environments.
  • Finance/process knowledge.
  • Experience competing against legacy vendors.

Language: Fluent in English and German (or another major European language, depending on territory).

You’ll get:

  • A product that wins.
  • Uncapped earnings.
  • Real ownership.
  • Growth and autonomy.
  • Continuous learning.
  • Exceptional team.

How to prepare for a job interview at blp

Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If blp uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
