The practice serves around 8,100 rural patients and has a nursing team on both sites, with open morning sessions and pre-booked afternoons. The post is needed from July 2027 to cover a senior partner's reduced sessions, and newly qualified GPs will be considered.
What the job involves
- Face-to-face and telephone consultations with patients, according to the patient's chosen option
- Open morning sessions (15 slots) and pre-booked afternoon appointments (12 slots)
- Working across the main site and the branch surgery about 5 miles away
- Weekly clinic session for registered clients of the private nursing home at the end of the driveway
- Working alongside the nurses, healthcare assistants and phlebotomist supporting GPs on both sites
