We’re a profitable video games company with 15 million monthly players, and we’re hiring a Social Content & Community Manager to join our 11-person founding team.

About us

We’re growing our multiplayer gaming platform where anyone can play, build, and share their editable worlds. We want billions to play and build games with our platform, not just millions. You can play our games at bloxd.io.

The job

We’re looking for a social content & community manager to support our growth - taking ownership of our content strategy and our community. You’ll own a diverse spectrum of responsibilities: from creating in-house content that drives traffic, to running events and supporting our creator ecosystem, to helping manage our community discord. This is our first role dedicated to social & community, so you’ll have a large impact on the business, shaping how we do things from scratch.

About you

  • Experienced content creator, growing at least one channel to 20k+ subscribers or acquiring millions of views
  • Excellent at creating on-trend, on-target short-form content, yet still proficient at creating a range of formats - including image-based and long-form content
  • Some experience managing communities
  • Excited about the opportunity to shape our social strategy; try things, learn from the numbers, and lean into what drives growth
  • Passionate about games, multiplayer, and creating fun! Bonus points if you love sandbox games :)

Things you could work on in your first two months

  • Create short-form content around bloxd - ideate, record, edit
  • Work with our existing creator ecosystem to improve the quality and reach of their content
  • Establishing relationships and working with content creators not already in the bloxd community
  • Take ownership of our discord community alongside existing content & game creator relationships
  • Run community game events, incorporating existing bloxd content creators and those not already in the bloxd community
  • Above all, build our social playbook from the ground up: figure out what works, what drives results - and what doesn’t
