TITLE: Team Leader – Hoddesdon
STATUS: Full Time (Days / Evenings / Weekends)
REPORTING TO: Service Manager
HOURS: 40+ hours per week
LOCATION: Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire
HOUR RATE: £12.25 p/h
BENEFITS: 20 days (plus bank holidays), Pension & Training.

We will work in partnership with parents and/or carers, the local community and local services in order to enhance support networks, thus promoting independence and ensuring that individuals are seen as part of the local community.

SUMMARY OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
Team Leader reports to Service Manager / Registered Manager
Team Leading a Supported Living Home with 2 young adults with Learning Disabilities and being the main point of contact for 12/14 Personal Care Assistants.
Staffing Responsibilities:
- Day to Day management of team staff.
- Supervision of staff.
- Annual leave request forms.
- Staff expenses forms.
- Staff sickness.
- Staff concerns.
- Communication with all staff.
- Lateness concerns.
- Risk assessing staff.
Housekeeping Responsibilities:
- Weekly meal plans.
- Weekly budget.
- Weekly chores plan.
- Utility bills budget.
- Daily activity plan.
- Weekly food shop.
- Equipment on site ordering.
- Risk assessing the environment.
Individuals We Support:
- Care plan updates.
- Medication charts.
- Seizure management charts and plotting.
- Behaviour support plans.
- Patient centred care planning.
- Communication aids.
- Medical appointments (GP, Specialists, Dentist etc).
- Parent involvement (communication and meetings).
- Daily care notes auditing
