The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

The role is a Permanent, Full-Time only role. Monday to Friday: (08:30am – 17:00pm). Salary from: Dependent on experience. To Start: September 2025. Closing date: 18th July 2025. Early applications are encouraged.

We are pleased to be able to advertise a position to start in the Autumn term for Head of Curriculum and to join the Senior Management Team. The role will work across sites to lead and oversee all curriculum aspects of the school. This includes overseeing teaching and learning provision, timetabling, data monitoring, student progress, organising and running Parents’ Evenings, managing Curriculum Leads and Heads of Department, and supporting the development of an ambitious and accessible SEN curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of leading or coordinating curriculum design and implementation in an educational setting.
  • Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly children with Speech and Language Needs, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, and those on the Autism Spectrum.
  • Proven experience of working with pupil progress and attainment data to inform curriculum planning and provision.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, including experience managing or supporting a team.
  • Experience of timetabling and balancing curriculum demands with staffing allocations.
  • Confidence and clarity in delivering lesson observations, learning walks, and developmental feedback.
  • Good English skills (clear written and spoken English) along with good numeracy skills.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams and external agencies.
  • The ability to review statutory and best practice guidance and implement it within school.
  • A deep understanding of how to promote positive behaviour in a nurturing, trauma-informed setting.
