This role needs to be based near Cambridge/Norwich. We’re expanding quickly and are now looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our innovative team as our newest #bloqstar.
In this role, you’ll be essential in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing our smart locker hardware, ensuring seamless operations and high‑quality service for our clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform on‑site mechanical repairs and troubleshooting to ensure the proper functioning of smart lockers
- Conduct functional tests and repair low‑voltage components
- Verify and inspect the quality of electrical installations
- Handle software fault reports remotely and coordinate with the technical team
- Manage replacement parts and electronic testing using technical documentation
- Document interventions, report results, and recommend improvements
- Support deployment tasks, including loading, installing, and testing lockers, as well as organising warehouse inventory
What Are The Requirements
- Good level of English
- Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills
- Excellent customer service skills, patience, and professionalism
- Comfort working with both hardware and software
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritise projects
