Following the recent appointment of three new partners, Bloomsbury Square Employment Law is seeking Associates and Partners to join our rapidly growing, highly regarded boutique firm. Due to a continued increase in high-value work, we are now looking for ambitious associates and partners to support our sophisticated client base.

The roles offer an exceptional opportunity for lawyers with partnership and equity partnership aspirations within the next five years. Our offices are on Bloomsbury Square, moments from Holborn and the British Museum, although there is no requirement to be London-based or office-based.

The Role

  • You will have the opportunity to work on interesting, high-value matters, including:
    • Advising senior executives on managed exits, negotiations, and disputes
    • Managing employment tribunal litigation
    • Supporting partners and managing high-value litigation in the high court
    • Advising on post-termination restrictions, share arrangements and incentive structures on exit
  • Acting for a diverse and high-quality client base, including:
    • City professionals earning £100,000+ p.a.
    • C-Suite executives /FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 executives
    • Technology specialists across engineering, product, and data
    • Lawyers in US, Magic Circle, and Silver Circle firms
    • Insurance, hedge fund, PE and banking professionals
  • Supporting a small but expanding employer client base, particularly in the technology and finance sectors

About You

  • Minimum 5 years experience in employment law
  • Currently working at a London, national or highly-rated employment law team
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Commercial, confident, and client-focused
  • Experience in representing senior employees is advantageous but not essential
  • Ambitious and motivated
