Bloomsbury’s award-winning audio team is looking for a new Team Assistant to support the next phase of our growth. The role will support the audio publishing process for our energetic team across Bloomsbury’s full catalogue of titles. It offers exposure to audio production, including casting, studio bookings and recordings.

Responsibilities

The Team Assistant will support the smooth running of the Audio team through excellent administration, coordination, and organisation across all areas of the list. This includes acting as a central point of support for team-wide operations, such as contracts, invoicing, rights coordination and internal processes, ensuring projects and workflows run efficiently.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows and prioritise effectively
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong communication skills
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Desirable:

  • Interest in audio and/or publishing
  • Experience managing contracts, invoicing or rights-related processes
  • Exposure to production workflows

Additional Information

Full-time, permanent position. Salary per annum: £27,000, depending on skills and experience. Location: London office (50 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3DP) – hybrid working pattern of 2 days office based / 3 days home based (or fully office based if preferred). Allocated office days are Tuesday and Thursday.
