The opportunity
Bloomsbury Education is looking for an enthusiastic, well‑organised Editorial Assistant to join a small dynamic team publishing exciting books for teachers, parents and children. The list includes teaching resources, professional development titles, fiction, poetry and home learning. Reporting to the Editorial Director and working closely with the editorial team this role offers the opportunity to develop editorial skills as well as providing key administrative support for the department.
Skills, knowledge, experience
- Organised and confident with good communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, high standards of accuracy and a keen eye for detail
- Strong organisational skills and a rigorous, self‑motivated meeting deadlines and managing schedules
- Able to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Some office experience preferred
- Demonstrable interest in education publishing essential and experience an advantage
