Overview
Bloomsbury Publishing Plc is a leading international publisher with strengths in trade, children’s, professional and academic publishing, both digitally and in print. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and organized Editorial Assistant to provide administrative and organisational support working on the Bloomsbury Theatre and Performance list. The Theatre and Performance list comprises two imprints, Methuen Drama and The Arden Shakespeare, serving diverse markets from theatre goers and students to global higher-education audiences. The list publishes teaching guides, research monographs, reference works and student introductions in print and on our digital platform, Drama Online. This is an excellent opportunity to develop key publishing skills and join a friendly team based in our central London offices.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and organisational support for the Bloomsbury Theatre and Performance list.

The role is a full-time fixed term 12-month contract starting in approximately November 2025.
Salary Pay Point: £27,000 pa
