We are a high-growth, high-impact charity using the power of football to level the playing field for young people across London. Every week, over 6,200 kids take part in our programmes — regardless of background, ability, or postcode.

About the Role

Our new Head of Corporate Partnerships will work closely with the Director of Fundraising and CEO to grow this key income stream. Corporate partnerships currently generate £1 million of our £3.5 million annual fundraised income, and increase of £600,000 from the prior year – testament to the huge potential in this area.

The post holder will be a confident communicator and natural relationship-builder, delivering exceptional account management while actively securing new partnerships. They will steward a diverse portfolio of corporate partners – from global brands to fast-growth businesses – ensuring outstanding service, strategic alignment, and inspiring opportunities. They will also regularly meet prospective supporters, including companies engaged through our corporate football tournaments, developing these relationships from first contact to multi-year deals.

They will join the CEO and Director of Fundraising at key meetings while independently leading many others. Managing our Corporate Partnerships Lead, they will support their development and oversee day-to-day delivery. As income and partnerships grow, so will the team – with the post holder playing a central role in shaping that growth.

The post holder will be expected to actively embrace AI, working with our Digital team to embed tools that enhance prospect research, reporting, and overall efficiency.

We are scaling faster than any other sport-for-good charity in the UK. The post holder will be pivotal in unlocking new revenue, deepening partnerships, and transforming the lives of thousands more young people across London and beyond.

Your Mission

  • Lead and grow a diverse portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring excellent stewardship, engagement, and strategic alignment with their business goals.
  • Identify and secure new corporate partnerships, including converting relationships from corporate football tournaments into multi-year agreements.
  • Develop best-in-class partnership offerings, from high-profile panel events to flagship supporter receptions (House of Lords in 2024, with plans for No.10 Downing Street in 2025).
  • Drive sales processes and pipeline management to maximise partnership opportunities and income growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Fundraising and CEO to shape partnership strategy and explore innovative income opportunities.
  • Embrace AI and digital tools to enhance prospect research, reporting, and efficiency.
  • Represent Bloomsbury Football professionally in senior-level meetings with corporate decision-makers.

About you

  • Proven track record in securing and managing significant corporate partnerships with measurable income growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing a sales or partnerships pipeline.
  • Credible communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience in mentoring or managing team members.
  • Highly organised and proactive, comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Digitally fluent and committed to embracing AI tools to enhance performance.
  • Growth mindset — continuously learning, adapting, and striving for improvement.
  • Leadership experience in partnerships or sales.
  • Experience working with companies in sport, CSR, or the charity sector.
  • Success in delivering pitches that secure high-value agreements.
  • Location: Camden, London (in-person, with flexibility to work remotely one day per week).
