Main goals of this role

  • Conducting business activities to ensure new customer acquisition (commission based).
  • Lead sales efforts within the UK region, managing the sales process (including price negotiation) through to closing.
  • Developing a strategy for the e-commerce vertical within the DACH region to penetrate key prospects (C-level clients), leveraging multiple team resources (sales engineers, professional services, marketing and customer support).
  • Focus on driving growth across key verticals: Entertainment & Media, Technology & Electronics, and Education & Professional Services.
  • Perform sales activities to obtain meetings with C-level clients.
  • Conduct thorough business needs analyses and explain why CDP is uniquely positioned to satisfy those needs.
  • Manage your CRM system to the highest level to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Engage with clients via webinars, calls, and in some cases, face-to-face meetings.
  • Prepare client briefs and proposals autonomously and to a high standard.
  • Demonstrate initiative to grow the business.

What we expect of you

  • 3+ years of quota-carrying experience (B2B sales) selling software or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
  • Deep knowledge of mar-tech technologies, CRM, Marketing Automation, CMS, Search and Merch or data capabilities.
  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue quota in a Sales Manager or equivalent role.
  • Well-established presence in the local markets with a relevant network.
  • Ability to negotiate and close deals in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Detail oriented with strong relationship-building and customer service focus.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and use initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including high-calibre presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management, positive attitude and a love of selling.
