Are you an experienced Cook or Chef looking for a role with better work-life balance and a chance to do meaningful work? We're looking for a Chef/Cook to support our specialist residential service in a friendly and supportive environment. The service supports adults with complex mental health needs, and food plays a huge part in helping residents feel settled, valued and cared for.
Hours/Contract
- 37.5 hours per week
- 9am to 5pm
- Weekend availability required
What the role involves?
- Preparing nutritious, home-style meals for residents
- Catering for dietary needs and preferences
- Maintaining high food hygiene and kitchen standards
- Managing the kitchen independently during shifts
- Working closely with the wider care team

- Previous experience as a Cook or Chef
- A positive, calm, and reliable approach
- Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Ability to work independently
- City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent is desirable
