Our Data team acquires and supplies this data to our clients. Teams work collaboratively to collect, analyse, process and publish the data which is the backbone of our iconic Bloomberg Terminal – the data ultimately feeding and moving the financial markets. The Team: Sustainable Finance data is increasingly crucial for our clients – providing deeper intelligence than conventional financial analysis alone. Climate change, regulatory pressures, the importance of human capital, and diversity are just a few critical factors global investors consider to best identify emerging risks and opportunities. At Bloomberg, Sustainable Finance data is displayed alongside fundamental data, backed by news for context, and used to power a growing suite of Sustainable Finance products. As a team, we are responsible for reporting and enhancing Sustainable Finance -related content for the Bloomberg Terminal and Enterprise products, including company-reported and normalized metrics, key analytical ratios, industry-specific metrics, and proprietary scores. Joining the Data department means that you are a part of one of the world\’s leading sources of data, providing accurate, immediate insights for financial market professionals. You will enhance your product knowledge, learn about our clients and their needs, and build relationships throughout the company, all while helping our clients integrate Sustainable Finance risk and opportunity analysis into their workflows. What\’s The Role? With ever increasing coverage and demand for timely Sustainable Finance data, we are looking for a market savvy and results-oriented individual to drive the effective utilization of external resources, such as vendors, to manage our day-to-day operation and data collection resources, both internal and outsourced and coordinating multiple data projects with different priorities, with the goal of delivering new Sustainable Finance datasets and improving the quality / timely delivery of the existing data sets to ultimately drive client value. This regional role is key in ensuring consistency of standards and collaborating with the Data Sourcing Office to coordinate the regional operations to ensure that service level agreements (SLA) for the timeliness, quality, and coverage of the data product are consistently met. You will use business intelligence to aid in supervising and controlling these operations regionally, as well as collaborating with the Sustainable Finance Data teams globally to find opportunities to promote policies and standard methodologies. You will also be responsible for improving our regional operations through technology, process re-engineering or applying alternative resource models. We\’ll trust you to: ● Build a strong understanding of dataset goals and priorities to inform effective vendor engagement strategies ● Translate workflow requirements into actionable staffing models that reflect coverage, timeliness, and accuracy needs ● Collaborate with data teams, engineering, and business intelligence groups to ensure vendor work is fully measurable and integrated into operational dashboards. ● Drive automation and process improvement efforts by pinpointing inefficiencies and proposing scalable technical solutions. ● Contribute to efforts that make data workflows more automation- and AI-ready. ● Cultivate strong, transparent, and goal-oriented relationships with vendor partners to drive mutual performance and trust. ● Act as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and vendor firms to ensure aligned expectations and timely issue resolution. ● Manage vendor communication with clarity and frequency-highlighting both performance achievements and areas for improvement. ● Build proactive systems and checkpoints for early detection of workflow risks and issues. ● Communicate clearly with stakeholders about vendor performance, risks, and improvements-balancing honesty with collaboration ● Demonstrate understanding of the client and their needs to drive priorities to drive business value from out datasets.
