Bloomberg Media seeks an energetic, creative journalist and (podcast) producer for a new flagship show for its Weekend Edition, hosted by Mishal Husain. The show will explore the intersections of global business, politics, life and culture and extend across Bloomberg’s podcast, digital, video and event platforms. You\’ll work under an Executive Producer, collaborating with our global podcast team, Bloomberg\’s Weekend Edition editorial team and the wider newsroom. We\’ll trust you to: Produce episodes from conception to completion, including researching guests and pre-interviews Edit audio, including mixing episodes, working with technical/video teams as necessary and identifying clips for social media and publicity Collaborate across Bloomberg to ensure alignment on bookings, edits, and production schedules Work flexible hours as needed for global coordination and breaking news coverage You\’ll need to have: 5+ years of journalism experience Audio reporting or producing experience Proficiency with audio editing software (Audition experience preferred) Demonstrated ability to write, structure, and score podcast episodes Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience producing news-based interview shows a plus Business and financial news background a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
