Bloomberg LP has built a significant Media business spanning television, digital, magazine, radio and live event platforms across the globe. In the midst of a historic time in the Media industry, Bloomberg Media is growing its global footprint and reach through new innovations from Originals to New Economy. The Planning and Campaign Management team plays a pivotal role in connecting client objectives with Bloomberg Media’s cross-platform advertising capabilities.
As strategic collaborators, we bring together creativity, data and deep product knowledge to develop media solutions that deliver significant results for our clients. We are involved in the full campaign lifecycle, from plan creation through to execution and reporting, ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively and perform against defined KPIs. Success in this role requires adaptability, curiosity and a proactive attitude. We are looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and is confident working across a broad suite of media channels, including TV & OTT video, digital display, social, audio, print and live events.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of Bloomberg Media’s audience, platforms, advertising products, and targeting capabilities, and stay up to date with new offerings and product developments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build strategic and creative single or multi-platform media plans that are aligned with client objectives.
- Use proprietary and industry data and research tools to inform planning decisions.
- Process insertion orders (IOs) accurately and coordinate campaign set-up, ensuring a smooth handover to post-sale teams.
- Partner closely with Sales, Ad Operations and Client Services during the post-sale phase to ensure media plans are implemented as intended, deliver against critical metrics, and enforce overall client success and retention.
- Monitor and analyse campaign results to uncover insights that inform ongoing optimisations and help Sales partners deliver timely updates to clients.
- Produce compelling mid and end-of-campaign reports that showcase results, highlight key learnings and support client renewals.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Use strong communication and time management skills to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of digital media planning experience at a publisher or agency; cross-platform planning experience is preferred.
- A strong understanding of media planning principles, campaign performance metrics, and media buying processes, with familiarity in EMEA market dynamics considered a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and present meaningful insights in clear, visually compelling formats using PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including knowledge of pivot tables, lookup functions (e.g. VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP) and charts.
- Familiarity with campaign management tools such as Google Ad Manager, Operative, DoubleVerify and Salesforce.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach.
- The ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
