Bloomberg LP has built a significant Media business spanning television, digital, magazine, radio and live event platforms across the globe. In the midst of a historic time in the Media industry, Bloomberg Media is growing its global footprint and reach through new innovations from Originals to New Economy.

Bloomberg Media is looking for an insightful, experienced and versatile writer to help us expand Bloomberg’s culture and lifestyle coverage. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional journalist, with expertise in a variety of cultural and lifestyle subjects, as well as intense curiosity about how market forces intersect with our daily lives and influence our desires. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for captivating meaningful stories about cultural, social and lifestyle trends, as well as a knack for filtering signal from noise, explaining context and connections, and translating financial ideas into clear, compelling prose.

● Boundless curiosity and ideas, and a keen eye for emerging consumer and lifestyle trends
● A broad network of sources across the region, and experience securing and executing both high-profile and deeply personal interviews
● Interest in and understanding of global financial markets and how they interact with culture and society
● Experience writing for a global audience similar to Bloomberg’s
● Demonstrated skill in communicating ideas across platforms, including audio, video and TV
● A generous spirit and a willingness to share ideas, collaborate on projects, and support others’ work
