Salary: Β£55,000 - 95,000 per year

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional work experience.
  • 4+ years of proven experience in product ownership, data management, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of speech-to-text/ASR technology, including experience in evaluating model performance, quality metrics, and backtesting frameworks.
  • A solid grasp of data management principles with proven examples of data analysis, governance, and modeling.
  • High attention to detail and demonstrated decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to establish credibility and build influential relationships with internal and external clients at a global level, both written and verbal.
  • Project Management experience in executing tasks independently and collaboratively.
  • Understanding of quality assurance and quality control from a data and product perspective.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as QlikSense or Tableau.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the Streaming Transcripts roadmap, collaborating with Product, Engineering, AI, Multimedia, and Speech teams to define strategy.
  • Engage with clients and market participants to identify evolving needs for real-time transcripts, translating them into actionable priorities.
  • Define what a fit-for-purpose transcripts product looks like, establishing continuous metrics for accuracy, timeliness, coverage, and vendor performance.
  • Track and report on objectives and key results, linking transcript and events product performance to measurable client outcomes.
  • Evaluate and supervise ASR model performance, setting quality metrics that align with our State of Data pillars.
  • Lead the design and evaluation of datasets, ensuring they align with client workflows and facilitate interoperability.
  • Research and evaluate new datasets and emerging technologies to expand coverage and improve workflows.
  • Effectively lead projects and deliverables, maintaining structured execution with creativity and flexibility in problem-solving.
  • Communicate data vision and strategic priorities to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Establish vendor management frameworks, negotiate contracts, and ensure vendors meet cost, quality, and service expectations.
  • Drive automation initiatives for EVTS Calendar Data, building partnerships with global exchanges and third-party providers.
