We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join the Index Client Solutions team in New York. You will join a highly motivated and successful Index Client Solutions team within Bloomberg’s BISL Index business, which sits within Enterprise Data. In this role, you will focus on the calculation and administration of indices across major asset classes, including Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, and others. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Management, Product Development, Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to design and implement custom index solutions across our platforms. You will be expected to drive innovation across all aspects of index creation and operations, including data quality and technical implementation, while ensuring appropriate risk controls and regulatory compliance.

You will adapt your communication style to diverse audiences, collaborating effectively with cross-functional internal teams while also engaging directly with clients. The role requires comfort working with large data sets and the ability to extract actionable insights to support product development and innovation. • Manage and de-risk manual rebalances through appropriate documentation and dual controls

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience with deep expertise in index platforms and products, as well as the institutional asset management industry and evolving index trends
  • Strong subject matter expertise across multiple asset classes, including global fixed income, global equities, commodities, currencies, convertibles, and related data and platform capabilities
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
