Bloomberg's Global Facilities Operations team is responsible for delivering consistent, right-sized, and data-driven operations across our global portfolio. We balance risk, cost, and workplace experience while operating and continuously improving complex, high-performance space. Deep knowledge of our sites, paired with data and user insight, enables us to anticipate needs and operate as a trusted business partner to the organization.

You Will Be Trusted To:

  • Lead Facilities & Workplace Experience operations across EMEA, managing a portfolio of 50+ sites with a strong bias toward execution, consistency and service quality.
  • Build, lead, and support multi-disciplinary teams, removing obstacles, setting clear expectations, and ensuring teams can operate effectively day-to-day while building a culture of accountability.
  • Own vendor management across the region, including contracts, scopes of work, and performance, holding partners accountable to service, quality, and commercial outcomes.
  • Act as the senior stakeholder interface for Facilities and Workplace Experience matters across EMEA, operating with transparency and a high-trust, service-oriented partnership model.
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality guest and visitor experience, partnering closely with internal teams to deliver personal, well-run, and value-aligned service across sites.
  • Set and execute a clear regional vision and operating roadmap aligned to global strategy, connecting design intent, user behavior, and operational reality while balancing day-to-day excellence with proactive planning.
  • Flex seamlessly between hands-on operations and strategic planning, staying close to the details while anticipating risks, demand, and opportunities.
  • Own regional OPEX management, including forecasting, variance management, business case development, and reporting in close partnership with Finance.
  • Drive space planning and analytics to optimize utilization, support growth and change, and inform strategic workplace decisions.
  • Develop data-backed business cases for strategic investment in the regional portfolio, linking space performance, risk reduction, lifecycle cost, and employee experience to enterprise outcomes.
  • Partner with Design and Capital teams as a thought partner, challenging assumptions early, stress-testing concepts for operability, maintainability, and scale, and translating design intent into high-performing live environments.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on site risk, asset condition, capital planning, and workplace standards, ensuring long-term performance of the built environment.
  • Partner with Incident Management and Business Continuity teams to strengthen preparedness, response, and recovery across the region.

You’ll Need to Have:

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in Facilities, Workplace Experience or adjacent disciplines (e.g. Operations, Customer Support, Design etc.) including 5+ years leading senior teams in a complex, multi-site environment.
  • Strong hands-on people leadership capability, with a proven track record of developing talent, removing friction, and building trust across disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor governance, large contracts, and commercial performance management.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align senior, cross-functional partners.
  • Commercially minded and solutions-oriented, comfortable navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Strong grasp of user experience, workflow, behavior, and systems thinking within workplace environments.
  • Ability to translate business and design objectives into data-backed operational strategies and execution plans.
  • A hands-on, transparent leader who values collaboration, accountability, and purpose-driven work.
