We give influential decision-makers in business, finance and government a driven edge by connecting them to a dynamic network of information, people and ideas, delivered through innovative technology. Our people work well under pressure and thrive in a team environment.
Bloomberg's Corporate Communications team shapes how the company is understood by the people who matter most to its success: our employees, the media and the broader business and financial community. Across EMEA, the team blends communications that inform and engage our people with communications that build and protect the company's external reputation spanning media relations to executive visibility so the region speaks with one consistent voice, internally and externally.
We're looking for a curious, high-energy and detail-oriented communicator ready to build a career spanning both internal and external communications. You'll work across a varied portfolio spanning multiple subject areas, as well as both internal and external projects, partnering with colleagues across the EMEA region as you build your remit. You'll help deliver messaging for employees and external audiences alike, gaining broader exposure over time to media relations, executive visibility, employee engagement and issues management.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys making things happen. You'll coordinate inputs and approvals, manage timelines, write and edit content, support events and campaigns, and keep multiple pieces of work moving at once. At the same time, you'll need the judgement to understand what audiences need to know, the curiosity to find a good story and the initiative to spot opportunities we may otherwise miss.
We'll Trust You To:
- Support the development and delivery of EMEA communications, internal and external.
- Create content across internal and external channels.
- Support media and external stakeholder engagement.
- Support Corporate Functions and teams across EMEA.
- Help prepare senior leaders for external visibility.
- Drive regional employee engagement initiatives.
- Support internal and external events.
- Support change communications.
- Find and elevate great stories.
- Connect EMEA to our global Internal Communications strategy.
You'll need to have:
- 3 years+ of relevant experience in employee, internal or corporate communications.
- Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- A willingness to be hands-on.
- A natural curiosity and good editorial instinct.
- Resourcefulness and the ability to simplify complex topics.
- Adaptability coupled with sound judgement and discretion.
- A collaborative mindset.
We'd love to see:
- A growth mindset.
- Experience working across multiple EMEA markets.
- Prior communications experience within financial services, media or technology.
- Experience working with regional offices or local employee groups.
- An interest in developing media relations skills.
If indicated, please note that years of experience are a guide; we will consider applications from all candidates who can demonstrate the skills necessary for the role.
