Description & Requirements:

Buy-side and sell-side professionals continually strive to achieve best execution and the optimal trading workflow across multiple asset classes. The Bloomberg Professional service provides trading solutions and sophisticated analytics to meet these needs, all on a single platform. Bloomberg Electronic Trading Solutions (ETS) unites all of Bloomberg’s cross-asset electronic trading platforms into one team, delivering trading solutions and analytics to both our Buy-side and Sell-side clients. Embedded within the Bloomberg network, our solutions help clients streamline critical trading workflows, including liquidity discovery, pre-trade decision support, trading connectivity, compliance surveillance, and transaction cost analysis (TCA), all from a single platform.

What's the role?

We are looking for an experienced sales professional, with a consistent track record, to join our growing EMEA Trading Analytics Sales team and market a broad suite of multi-asset trading analytics, connectivity, and data solutions, including our Trading Connectivity, Liquidity Analytics, and pre- and post-trade TCA products. As part of the Trading Analytics Sales team, you will work collaboratively to position a diverse suite of enterprise trading connectivity, analytics, data, and API solutions to existing Bloomberg clients, as well as prospects across both buy-side and sell-side institutions. You will develop and expand senior-level relationships across trading, quantitative, compliance, data sourcing, technology, and executive functions, gaining a deep understanding of clients' trading infrastructure and workflows while driving the full sales cycle—from prospecting and solution positioning through to successful long-term adoption.

We will trust you to:

  • Apply your strong product knowledge, technical skills, and market knowledge to generate revenue for Bloomberg's Enterprise Business and broader Bloomberg solutions.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales engagements across multiple stakeholders and long-term client initiatives.
  • Articulate the features and benefits of Bloomberg enterprise products in great detail, so that you can act as a partner for your customers.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of what your customers do so that you can position our products to them at multiple phases of an engagement to multiple stakeholders.
  • Contribute innovative ideas that anticipate and address client needs.
  • Collaborate internally to implement and complete beneficial solutions.
  • Participate actively in new projects that drive departmental and firm-wide initiatives and goals.
  • Seek out additional ways to make an impact, such as mentoring, involvement in training, running campaigns, and active involvement in product enhancement.

You'll need to have:

  • Proven experience driving complex enterprise sales initiatives within financial technology, SaaS, data, or analytics providers serving buy-side and sell-side financial institutions.
  • A sound understanding of financial markets across Equities, Listed Derivatives, FX, and Fixed Income.
  • Fluency in French language.
  • Understanding of electronic trading workflows, including OMS/EMS connectivity, execution, and transaction cost analysis (TCA).
  • Exemplary presentation, training and communication skills in French and English.
  • The ability for regular travel.

We’d love to see:

  • Familiarity with APIs, data integration workflows, or basic programming concepts would be advantageous.

If this sounds like you; apply if you think we're a good match! We'll get in touch to let you know what the next steps are.
