What’s the role?

We’re looking for a seasoned campaign Art Director who combines conceptual creativity with impeccable design sensibility. You’ll play a key, hands-on role in developing and extending Bloomberg’s brand across campaigns, visual identities, platforms, and content formats. You should take an idea-first approach to solving creative challenges and bring a deep understanding of our products to illuminate and dramatise the substantial power we offer. You understand the importance of impact and intrigue, connecting it to work that can move the needle.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Lead the creative concepting, art direction, and design direction of integrated brand and marketing campaigns.
  • Take full ownership of campaigns from ideation through production, ensuring every detail reflects Bloomberg’s brand and creative standards.
  • Partner with copywriters, designers, and producers to develop strategic, story-driven creative.
  • Expand and create existing brand systems in fresh and compelling directions across digital, motion, print, and environmental.
  • Oversee execution across touchpoints, including shoots, motion content, web, and social.
  • Pitch work with confidence and clarity to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across regions and disciplines in a global creative team environment.
  • Respect the brief -- but never let it box you in.

You’ll need to have:

  • A portfolio showcasing original ideas, brand systems, and integrated campaign work across formats.
  • Experience working in global or matrixed organizations.
  • Strong graphic design and typography skills, and a deep understanding of content hierarchy.
  • Proven ability to create clear, compelling visual narratives for complex B2B audiences.
  • Experience in pitching and defending creative work with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to partner with stakeholders and strategy to shape creative briefs.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and familiarity with motion and interactive design workflows.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in creative agencies or in-house brand teams, with a focus on conceptual brand campaigns.

  • Knowledge of motion, environmental, or industrial design.
