Bloomberg Media has an exciting opportunity for an Advertising Operator to join the team who will contribute to the end-to-end execution of advertising campaigns across digital, television, audio, print, programmatic, social and terminal platforms, focusing on client performance, optimization and insights. This candidate will have the opportunity to use a blend of technical aptitude, analytical mindset, organizational skills and creative problem solving to bring media solutions to life and ensure client success. In their day to day role, this individual will lead campaigns across our various advertising platforms to traffic ad creative, troubleshoot problems, optimize campaign delivery and report results for clients advertising on Bloomberg’s owned & operated and off-platform properties.

This is an amazing opportunity for an entrepreneurial person with an eye for growth to own operations and use their unique skills to drive revenue generating recommendations, tactics and strategies across all our lines of business.

We will trust you to:

  • Traffic and maintain ad campaigns on Bloomberg's multi-media owned & operated platforms and off-platform, working consultatively to ensure deal terms are met including delivery rates, start and end date, reporting requirements, viewability expectations, etc.
  • Provide best-in-class customer service for internal and external stakeholders, clients and agencies by providing optimizations and insights.
  • Have an understanding of advertising regulations, capable of working consultatively with sales, clients and agencies to foster understanding and adoption of industry specifications and standards.
  • QA campaign assets and creatives against advertising standards and compliance specifications, to ensure proper functionality.
  • Collaborate with sales, ad product, ad technology and planning teams to understand client KPIs and how we can leverage Bloomberg assets to drive success.
  • Attend client meetings with the sales team as a key resource for ad operations queries.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in advertising operations or trafficking.
  • An understanding of digital, television and audio advertising.
  • Articulate and comfortable speaking with diverse audiences, including sales and clients, demonstrating the ability to translate technical subject matter into relatable business terminology and respond to unexpected questions on the spot.
  • Strong time management skills to ensure we are effectively leading requests and deadlines both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining attention to detail and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • A natural ability to proactively problem solve and think creatively.
  • Impeccable technical acumen and a good understanding of advertising performance metrics.
  • Experience working in Google Ad Manager as well as with third party ad servers (Google DV360, Flashtalking, Celtra, etc) and ad-verification vendors (Integral Ad Science, DoubleVerify, etc).
  • Understanding of Excel, including the ability to create and use pivot tables.
