The Role: Our Team: Bloomberg’s Technical Support specialists are the very best in global front line support. You will provide both new and existing Bloomberg clients with platinum technical service. You'll offer sophisticated technical skills to resolve issues and work closely with a range of partners to deliver access to the Bloomberg infrastructure while meeting our clients’ connectivity needs. You will be responsible for communicating with key accounts while collaborating closely with market data and technology personnel as well as telecommunication providers, service vendors, and a variety of internal partners to ensure the highest quality of service to our customers. If you wish to be involved in an exciting, fast-paced opportunity that allows you to fully utilize your communication, technical, and troubleshooting skills while gaining insight into the global financial markets - then this may be the opportunity for you.

Eligibility criteria:

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 - 9 in any subject (Should include Maths & English)
  • Three A-levels (Grade A*-C) or equivalent OR significant work experience (3+ years)
  • Have lived in the UK continuously for the past 3 years
  • Possess the right to work in the UK
  • Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject

What we would like to see:

  • Strong customer service skills including telephone etiquette and a professional demeanour
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additionally, fluency in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, German would be a plus!)
  • A real passion and proven experience of supporting technology across a multitude of platforms
  • A strong grasp of PC hardware, operating systems and software suites (Windows & Mac OS, Office Suite)
  • Careful attention to detail, with an aptitude for working quickly and accurately
  • Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills as well as an ability to work independently and as part of a larger global team
