Bloomberg LP has built a significant media business spanning television, digital, magazine, radio and live event platforms across the globe. In the midst of a historic time in the media industry, Bloomberg Media is growing its global footprint and reach through new innovations from Bloomberg Originals to New Economy Forum.
Bloomberg TV is looking for a Line Producer to join our EMEA team for an 8 months contract. The position is based in our London bureau and will be focused on our daily programming.
You must have proven skills in TV news production including planning, writing, crafting graphics/videos, and handling the pressure of breaking news. You must be able to embrace challenges, make split-second decisions and thrive in a busy TV environment.
We'll trust you to:
- Write scripts, commission graphics and produce other visual elements to support storytelling
- Produce a rundown that reflects Bloomberg's editorial priorities and uses our global resources
- Expertly output live shows from the control room
- Take direction from the Senior and Executive Producers, and complete tasks confidently with limited supervision
You'll need to have:
- Demonstrated ability in a similar role with 5+ years experience
- A good grasp of financial markets and outstanding editorial judgement
- Organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- The ability demonstrate clear and concise directions in a high pace environment
- Flexibility to work early mornings
