In this role you will drive adoption of Bloomberg Index products among institutional clients across EMEA, building senior relationships and delivering consultative index solutions. You will discuss methodology, gather product feedback, and support end-to-end sales and implementation. The position involves training, cross-team collaboration, and frequent travel to engage clients and prospects. You join a fast-paced, meritocratic environment focused on delivering transparent, innovative index solutions for asset owners and managers.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with major institutional clients
- Lead in-depth discussions on Bloomberg index methodology and new product requirements
- Increase usage and adoption of Bloomberg Indices by clients
- Lead internal and external training sessions and sales pitches
- Manage the sales process including commercial terms and contract execution
- Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell the full suite of solutions
- Provide detailed client feedback to internal teams to improve products
- Travel extensively to meet clients and prospects
Key requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in a Sales or Product capacity
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Proven ability to identify prospects and maintain client relationships
- Experience selling to buy-side (pension funds, investment advisors, mutual funds) or experience in financial engineering/structuring
- Excellent client communication skills (verbal, written, public speaking)
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly growing environment
- Ability to market products to a broad client base
