Bloomberg Live Experiences has an exciting new opportunity for a Business Support Manager to join the team. You will provide high-level executive support to the Global Head of Event Strategy and Experiential, BLive while driving operational efficiency across the Events function. This role combines Executive Assistant responsibilities with operational coordination, business support, and strategic support. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who ensures smooth delivery of both day-to-day operations and long-term event initiatives.
We’ll trust you to:
- Provide full administrative support to the Global Head, including complex diary management, travel logistics, and inbox oversight.
- Assist with long-term business initiatives, annual event calendars, and resource planning to drive department goals.
- Prepare briefings and agendas, attend meetings to capture outcomes, and track post-meeting actions to ensure accountability.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the Global Head, managing stakeholder communications and professional follow-ups.
- Conduct targeted research and gather information to facilitate informed executive decision-making.
- Own the central team tracker, maintaining project timelines and providing regular status updates on department progress.
- Handle core budget tasks, including processing purchase orders, managing invoices, and supporting overall financial tracking.
- Assist with the logistical execution of events while ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and governance standards.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency. Maintain accurate databases, CRM systems, and departmental documentation.
You’ll need to have:
- Ideally 3+ years’ experience in a fast-paced administrative, events operations, or hybrid business support role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- Experience supporting senior leaders and managing sensitive/confidential information.
- An understanding of events processes, logistics, and delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with strong attention to detail.
- Competent with Microsoft/Google Office suites, project management tools, and CRM systems.
