The Role — Lead the Future of Funds Data Innovation

We are seeking a visionary Team Leader to drive the evolution of Bloomberg’s Funds Data business globally. This is a leadership position at the intersection of finance, data science, and AI innovation. You will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic roadmap for our Data products — shaping the next generation of data solutions. You’ll lead a high‑performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning. In this role, you will champion AI‑driven transformation, Agentic AI approaches and be a partner to clients in their AI and Cloud technology transformation.

We’ll Trust You To:

  • Lead innovation – inspire, mentor, and develop a team that leverages AI, analytics, and automation to re‑imagine data products and workflows.
  • Drive growth in the Data business by defining a forward‑looking product strategy, prioritising high‑impact initiatives, and executing with agility.

You’ll Need To Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management within financial data, analytics, or technology, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Deep understanding of global Funds markets with a deep understanding of Funds data landscape.
  • Strong grasp of data science, MCP AI, and agentic automation concepts and how they transform financial data workflows.
  • Proven track record of defining and executing innovative product strategies that deliver measurable business results.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to articulate complex, technical concepts with clarity and influence across senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel globally as needed to engage with teams, clients and industry partners.

We’d Love To See:

  • Passion for AI innovation and the evolving landscape of agentic, intelligent data systems.
  • Understanding of cross‑asset data models and quantitative integration.
  • Exposure to client workflows across either Trading, Risk, regulation or sustainability.
  • Experience with Python, R, or other data science and analytics programming languages.
