Security Operations is responsible for delivering best-in-class security and protective measures to safeguard employees, properties, and assets against criminal acts, terrorism, workplace violence, loss, and safety concerns. The department is comprised of dedicated professionals with extensive backgrounds in public safety, law enforcement, defense, and corporate security.

The Security Operations department is seeking a highly motivated and skilled team player to join our Security Technology team in London. The Senior Physical Security Technology Specialist will provide technical support, oversee the administration of physical security systems, and manage their ongoing maintenance. This role requires strong technical expertise, proven project management skills, and the ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and external vendors across the EMEA region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performer to take on increased responsibility and help enhance our security capabilities across diverse environments.

You will be trusted to:

  • Plan, design, test, and implement complex integrated and networked access control and video systems across the EMEA region.
  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines while leading projects that include vendor, contractor, and internal stakeholder activities.
  • Manage multiple, simultaneous projects, adapting to shifting priorities and unplanned critical work.
  • Conduct extensive security system audits and job walks across various types of facilities.
  • Coordinate the installation of hardware and software, evaluating compatibility, functionality, and suitability of completed installations.
  • Monitor vendor and contractor work on security installation projects to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
  • Maintain security systems, hardware, and applications.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve systems and hardware issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business units, regional stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment of security objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, effectively communicating technical solutions and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You’ll need to have:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of Security Industry experience, ideally within an international or EMEA-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of intrusion detection systems, electronic access control, CCTV/IP video surveillance systems, intercom, visitor management, and network devices.
  • Knowledge of networking technologies and information technology principles.
  • Demonstrated project management expertise with a proven track record of leading both large-scale and smaller technical projects.
  • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and ability to function effectively in high-pressure and evolving environments.
  • Excellent time-management, communication, technical writing, presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Certifications:

  • C-Cure 9000 System Installer, Advanced Integrator, Enterprise
  • Genetec Security Center Omnicast Technical Certification
  • Genetec Security Center – Synergis Technical Certification
